Selection requirements

What do we need to know?

Please share the operating conditions below. The selected motor still needs testing in your equipment to confirm performance and fit.

  1. Motion and load

each action in the machine cycle, the handled item, station hand-offs, start-up and changeover, and abnormal stopped states

  2. Power and control

machine power and control interfaces, station commands, cycle timing, feedback, interlocks, stopping and recovery

  3. Space and interfaces

the envelope in the machine or line, tooling and transmission interfaces, cable and guarded zones, and changeover and service access

  4. Duty and environment

factory temperature and humidity, dust or oil mist, vibration, cleaning method, production rhythm, personnel access, and maintenance conditions

  5. Testing and production

the full production rhythm, station hand-offs, different materials or changeover, interlocked stop and recovery, service, and consistency through continuous production

Select motors for the actual operating conditions and validate them in the complete device.
