Selection requirements

What do we need to know?

Please share the operating conditions below. The selected motor still needs testing in your equipment to confirm performance and fit.

  1. Motion and load

the moved member, full travel, direction changes, end states, and resistance that may vary through the stroke

  2. Power and control

power supply, run and stop conditions, interlocks, feedback, protection and fault reset

  3. Space and interfaces

the envelope within the access equipment, interface to the barrier or gate, guarded zones, wiring, and on-site service access

  4. Duty and environment

sun and rain, temperature and humidity cycling, dust and grit, wind load, shock and vibration, storage, and field-maintenance conditions

  5. Testing and production

the full opening and closing cycle, end and dwell states, vehicle or pedestrian passage, obstruction and emergency states, noise, and consistency under frequent use

Select motors for the actual operating conditions and validate them in the complete device.
