Selection requirements

What do we need to know?

Please share the operating conditions below. The selected motor still needs testing in your equipment to confirm performance and fit.

  1. Motion and load

document size and condition, feed path, transport rhythm through the scan area, exit process, and double-feed, skew, or jam boundaries

  2. Power and control

machine power and control interfaces, station commands, cycle timing, feedback, interlocks, stopping and recovery

  3. Space and interfaces

the envelope around the document path, feed and exit interfaces, sensing and scan zones, wiring, and jam-clearance access

  4. Duty and environment

office temperature and humidity, paper debris and dust, noise, frequent starts, clearing method, and long standby periods

  5. Testing and production

feeding, scan-area passage and exit for different documents, skew or double-feed handling, jam clearing, noise, and continuous-handling consistency

Select motors for the actual operating conditions and validate them in the complete device.
