    1Market conditions

    The application of micro gear motors has penetrated into all walks of life. With the continuous improvement of people's quality of life, as cars gradually evolve from mere means of transportation to "mobile living spaces", the innovation of in-vehicle interaction methods is profoundly reshaping the relationship between humans and travel. The emergence of automotive projection screens is precisely a key stroke in this transformation. It breaks through the physical boundaries of traditional in-vehicle screens, integrates information interaction, entertainment experience and driving scenarios with a more flexible form and broader vision, making the travel experience more intelligent, convenient and full of warmth.

    At present, the structure of the motor applied to this projection screen reel gearbox basically adopts the NGW planetary gearbox structure. The structure of this motor is shown in Figure 1, and Figure 2 shows it installed inside the screen reel to realize the screen deployment/retraction function.

     

       

     

     

    2Market requirement or problem

    Currently, most projection screens on the market have the following problems:

    1. High noise: When the projection screen starts to deploy or retract, the overall operating noise is too loud, which affects the user experience.

    2. High cost: For the reel motors of projection screens in most vehicle models, coreless motors are used. Due to the coreless structure of coreless motors, the manufacturing process is relatively complex and difficult, resulting in high costs.

    3. Poor system stability: When the controller triggers some projection screens to deploy or retract, the functions may fail, and repeated operations are required for a response, which affects the projection effect.

     

    3In response to market demands, Lihui's solutions.

    To address the challenges of existing motors on the market, Lihui Motor has proposed a new solution through optimizing gear and motor designs:

    1. Optimize the design of gears, select high-precision and high-strength gears to improve impact resistance, reduce operating noise, and enhance tooth surface contact strength and transmission stability.

    2. The motor adopts a brushless motor. The structure and manufacturing process of brushless motors are already very mature, and their cost is significantly lower compared with coreless motors.

    3. By combining a high-precision gearbox with a brushless motor, and integrating feedback from the high-precision sensor built into the motor during operation, it can accurately control the deployment and retraction speed and position of the projection screen. This ensures uniform and smooth movement throughout the screen's deployment and retraction process, jamming or abnormal noises, to ensure that the curtain is flat and wrinkle-free when unfolded, so as to enhance the user experience and visual effect.
