Selection requirements

What do we need to know?

Please share the operating conditions below. The selected motor still needs testing in your equipment to confirm performance and fit.

  1. Motion and load

the moved member, full travel, direction changes, end states, and resistance that may vary through the stroke

  2. Power and control

power supply, run and stop conditions, interlocks, feedback, protection and fault reset

  3. Space and interfaces

the installation envelope within the building opening, connection to the door panel, guidance and service access, and assembly order with the existing structure

  4. Duty and environment

indoor-outdoor transition, temperature and humidity changes, dust, moisture, wind pressure, vibration, and contact by users

  5. Testing and production

full travel, end behavior, stopping and reversal, obstruction handling, manual state, noise, and consistency over repeated movements

Select motors for the actual operating conditions and validate them in the complete device.
