Selection requirements

What do we need to know?

Please share the operating conditions below. The selected motor still needs testing in your equipment to confirm performance and fit.

  1. Motion and load

the rotating member, loading differences, acceleration and deceleration, steady operation, and limits such as imbalance or obstruction

  2. Power and control

power supply, run and stop conditions, interlocks, feedback, protection and fault reset

  3. Space and interfaces

the envelope inside the medical device, separation from the patient or sample side, tubing and cable routes, and cleaning and service access

  4. Duty and environment

cleaning and disinfection, proximity to patients or samples, noise, temperature rise, contamination control, fault stopping, and traceability needs

  5. Testing and production

sample loading, acceleration and deceleration, stable running, imbalance recognition, stop and access conditions, noise, and consistency over repeated tests

Select motors for the actual operating conditions and validate them in the complete device.
