Selection requirements

What do we need to know?

Please share the operating conditions below. The selected motor still needs testing in your equipment to confirm performance and fit.

  1. Motion and load

the conveyed subject, operating span, speed changes, start-and-stop process, and load variation caused by friction or obstruction

  2. Power and control

power supply, output adjustment, start-stop logic, feedback, protection and fault response

  3. Space and interfaces

the envelope within the fitness frame, interface to moving members, guarded zones, wiring, and routine service access

  4. Duty and environment

continuous user contact, perspiration, dust, shock and vibration, noise, ventilation, and public-use conditions

  5. Testing and production

belt travel, starting and speed changes, user entry and exit, abnormal obstruction, noise, structural vibration, and consistency over repeated sessions

Select motors for the actual operating conditions and validate them in the complete device.
